Application Method

  • Mix the recommended dosage in the required volume of clean water to ensure a uniform spray suspension.
  • Apply as a high-volume foliar spray using a knapsack or power sprayer for maximum distribution.
  • Ensure complete and uniform coverage of the entire plant canopy, including the underside of the leaves.
  • For soil application, apply as a drench near the root zone during early growth stages for systemic uptake.
  • Repeat the application after 12–15 days if pest pressure persists or during the peak emergence of sucking pests.

Mode of Action

ThiaApex is a highly potent second-generation neonicotinoid. Thiamethoxam acts by irreversibly binding to the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the insect's central nervous system. This causes a continuous overstimulation of the nerves, leading to rapid paralysis, failure of the digestive system, and death of the target insect.

  • Wash hands, face, and all exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water immediately after the spraying process.
