• Mix the recommended dosage in the required volume of clean water to ensure a uniform spray suspension.
• For Rice Sheath Blight, apply as a foliar spray directed towards the base of the plant where the disease typically originates.
• For Potato Black Scurf, it can be used as a seed tuber treatment or a soil drench at the time of planting.
• Ensure thorough coverage of the stems and lower leaves for maximum protection.
• Repeat the application after 10–14 days if the weather conditions (high humidity and temperature) favor further disease development.

Venus acts as a powerful inhibitor of the fungal enzyme trehalase. Validamycin interferes with the breakdown of trehalose into glucose within the fungal cells. This disruption starves the fungus of essential energy and prevents the synthesis of cell wall components. Consequently, the extension of fungal hyphae is halted, and the pathogen is unable to absorb nutrients from the plant, leading to its eventual death.
